We arrived.  Amazingly we have 17 bikes and riders. But not without incident. The TSA thought my case was locked, so they almost left my bike at Logan. Its good we got to the airport with lots of time to spare!  3 bikes got stuck at Heathrow but made the next flight. One front derailleur clamp snapped, but a local bike shop replaced it (shop run by the son of a 1947 Tour Stage winner).  Got all bikes built, boxes in storage at Peter's in laws - one block from the beach in beaulieu-ser-mer. Went for a swim in the Mediterrean. Dinner at Peters. Walking distance to hotel. Time to crash.   Tomorrow Sunday morning we launch early and ride along the coast through Monaco to Menton, then turn left - toward the Alps. 11000 ft later we should arrive in Valdeblore. We'll see how it goes and have the van for bailing out when/if necessary.
